In the second edition of the Data Science in Finance Conference, five of the Netherlands’ top financial institutions (ABN AMRO, ING, Rabobank, Van Lanschot Kempen & de Volksbank) will come together to share the work they are doing in applying data science to solve problems in the Dutch banking sector. Financial institutions have a common, societal responsibility, and the ultimate goals of the conference are learning, sharing and strengthening our connections to serve society better.
The three day programme will include keynotes from world-renowned experts on cutting edge topics, as well as thought-provoking panel discussions from senior managers at the five banks. What makes DSFC such a unique event however, is that the bulk of the agenda is taken up by presentations and workshops from Data Scientists and Engineers working within these institutions, applying the latest advances in machine learning to the needs of the Dutch banking sector. This year’s event casts a strong focus on the topics of Responsible AI, NLP and MLOps, but the application of data science to nearly every aspect of the day-to-day running of a financial institution (investment strategies, compliance, customer-facing chatbots, etc) is also covered.
This event is targeted at Data Scientists and Engineers working in the finance sector, but would also be of interest to a wide range of people working in the data and analytics domain including; analysts, policy makers, privacy experts, and data translators.
