My name is Vamsi, and I am a Machine Learning Engineer at Rabobank. My team primarily focuses on developing models that prevent over-crediting by assisting in the decision-making process for loan sanctioning. Originally from India, I now live in Utrecht. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and am deeply passionate about AI and finance. I have been working at Rabobank for over two years. Last summer, I completed the Young Engineering Professional Program, which allowed me to be part of multiple projects, such as Automated Loan Prospecting and the North American Sustainability Dashboard. I jump on any opportunity that requires the implementation of data-driven approaches to create concrete actionables thus generating a positive impact. Most of my time is spent building and maintaining data infrastructure and conducting analyses to improve our products. In addition to my main role, I serve as the Wellbeing Champion for my team, contributing to mental health initiatives for my colleagues. In my free time, I love to cook and play football.
