Melanie Trezise

Melanie Trezise is an AI Consultant at Rabobank, deeply absorbed by the nitty gritty of AI Act implementation. Unafraid of the scenic route, before finding her way to banking in the Netherlands, her experience included commercial law in Japan, local government policy and compliance in Australia and most recently a PhD in Law at the University of Sydney. Her thesis was concerned with conceptualising legal personhood on a spectrum and investigating how factors such as automated decision-making might influence the positioning of artificial intelligence on that spectrum.
