Veerle van den Akker studied Econometrics with a specialization in Big Data Business Analytics at the University of Amsterdam. Currently she works as a Data Scientist at ING. Over the years she had the opportunity to see different analytics departments and businesses of ING. Additionally, to her role as data scientist she likes to organize events such as this year’s Data Science in Finance Conference.
